Bread&Crows at the PlayStation Meeting 2013 – live-tweet details (and The Tale of E3 2012)

We’re live-tweeting the PlayStation Meeting 2013 from 11pm GMT, 3pm PST, and 6pm EST. Join us on Twitter and Facebook for our insubstantial coverage of what will be an important date in video game history.

You might well remember that last time we at Bread&Crows attempted to live-tweet a PlayStation-centric event – namely Sony’s visit to E3 in June of 2012 – things did not go according to plan. Around a quarter of the way into the broadcast, spewing hilarious 140-character observations readier than buttocks lubricated by a spate of diarrhoea, we were deemed malicious producers of malicious spam by the king and queen of Twitter and promptly exiled from their kingdom – or banned.

Malicious producers of malicious spam we are not, so, supported by a squadron of loyal fans (one or two people, if memory serves), we pleaded for the undeserved ban to be revoked. It took several days but eventually we returned, swaggering with triumph like the freed Nelson Mandela, our arms outstretched to the lively noise of a welcoming crowd (one or two people, if memory serves). Nelson Mandela was, in fact, within the crowd (one of our two readers – hi, Nelson!) and blew a kiss in our direction that, instead of delicately touching one of our cheeks, reached a nearby sickly boy and his dour dog and cured them both of dysentery.

But those several days, before Nelson Mandela demonstrated his healing powers, between our Nineteen Eighty-Four-style silencing and our 1945-style liberation, constituted a wretched experience we pray never occurs again.

Especially not beginning the twentieth of February 2013.

Today, we mean. Especially not beginning today. This day that is today.

For at 11pm GMT (or 3pm PST and 6pm EST, if you live in America or own a weird clock), we at Bread&Crows will attempt to live-tweet another PlayStation-centric event – namely the mysterious PlayStation Meeting – with a hopeful minimum of needless banning from Twitter. Join us at twitter.com/breadandcrows and facebook.com/breadandcrows to witness our fate.

You might also witness the PlayStation 4.

So join us. Flipping join us.

  1. I enjoyed the Live Tweets, Sony really showed off some great things at this meeting. I just hope that they stay true to their word. They usually do, but they don’t fulfil their promises until later. Ah well, we’ll just have to wait and see :)
